Interesting the hotel did this in the wake of Black Hat USA and DefCon - have been attending the former, and the official conference hotel and the other MGM properties that acted as conference hotels as well did not do anything of this sort. Seems that someone at the Resort World properties got kind of nervous as to what villains would be checking in to their holy place to attend the conference (they were part of the hotels with conference rates too)...
