I was booked on a flight from IAH to DPS in J using miles and cash. I just recieved an email stating that the flight was canceled and to log on to the website. When I log in there is a message saying that the flight has been canceled and that my options are to request a refund. That's it. No other alternatives.
Basically what I went through with them over the phone so it looks like as of now options are pretty limited. I think the main issue in my booking was that it was saver and all the other available award flights were advantage. It sounded like had I purchased an advantage fare they would have just swapped me as a courtesy but since it was saver>advantage the only option they gave was a refund/transfer with more points.
