I'm very keen to fly on SQ's 777-9 inaugural flight which is slated to be in 2026. For those veterans out there who flew the inaugural A380 flight back in 2007, or the more recent SQ24 inaugural flight in 2020, how difficult was it to redeem a J seat? Will SQ release J Saver for non-PPS members for inaugural flights?
Milelion managed to snatch a J seat for SQ22's inaugural for 135k miles (Advantage rate in 2018).

How quickly do you have to book a seat? And any tips on keeping tabs on the announcement?
As for revenue ticket, does it cost more than a regular one?

Also how was the experience like? According to OMAAT "vast majority of passengers on inaugural flights are just booking those flights coincidentally, and probably don’t even realize they’re on an inaugural", but from flight reports I can see plenty of avgeeks. Was it a worthwhile experience for avgeeks?

Side note: my guess for 777X's inaugural route is SIN-CDG
