At 0.5p per MRP that's half the value you could get if you transferred them to Avios.
But it looks like you would get TP and Avios for the booking if you did it this way as that's a normal fare bucket not a reward one.
MR points are notoriously bad value! And you don’t even get the benefit of the £35 cancellation up to 24h before travel. It’s basically no different to using the MR points for a statement credit. The MR points required are generally directly proportional to the cost of the ticket.
