Looks like the EK bus is scheduled to beat the morning traffic. It is probably your best option other than a taxi/uber or a one-way rental car.

The intercity public transport buses are good for intercity journeys not involving the airport. In your case, dealing with bags plus transfers to the airport I wouldn't cut it closer than the EK bus's schedule, at which point why not just take the EK bus?
