No the platinum status is only for you plus one guest staying in the same room. I have had countless stays at a variety of hotels in the states that have extended that benefit for my family booked in a second room. If that is something you want to know beforehand, I would contact the hotel. Otherwise just try the front desk at time of checkin and ask really nicely.
