Is the "same flight as that United" at 10:30pm operated by UA, or by LH?
- If you book through LH, and the flight is operated by LH, then your calculations should be right.
- If you book through LH, but the flight is actually operated by UA as a codeshare, then UA will not use mileage-based calculations. PQPs awarded will be based on the amount of revenue that UA recognizes for each UA segment of the itinerary, which could be significantly different from what you actually paid. OAL segments (ex. on a mixed LH and UA itinerary) will still use mileage-based calculation for those specific segments, but this makes the PQP earning picture much harder to calculate.
