I wonder if any BA CC could advise exactly what is required, I have gone through the BA website and am still confused.

My son and his partner and their daughter will be travelling to Sydney on BA0015 in October, at which point daughter will be 15 months old, they will be in Y but will have three seats, 31AB&C have been allocated. We are unsure if she needs a car seat or other suitable Amsafe system. They do not want to take a carseat as they will have access to one while in Australia. The Amsafe restraint seems to fit the bill, does it have to be the CARES one as there appear to be many on the market that are much more competitively priced. What is the situation once the child is over 2 years, again the website is not particularly clear if anything other than the seat lapbelt is required while having the option to take a carseat.
