Escaping the heat next week by flying to Maui.

Will probably hate ourselves, but took a deal and booked deep steerage. (Leg cramp section I know, but the last available confirmed aisle seat on a direct flight was in the back of the airplane). On the upside we actually caught the proverbial really good flash sale fare. (Upgrades are such a longshot on that run anyway).

Anyway, flying with a spouse who has gluten and lactose issues. I would have said we had managed to select something for her on domestic coach several times before. But, it does not presently appear possible to even request a special "meal", (using the term loosely), online.

Not that the peasant boxes in the back don't make the Fairfield Inn breakfast buffet look like high cuisine anyway, But, please tell me if I'm missing some way to order her anything but the standard-issue toss box (and how to do so).
