And did you complain there were no alternatives? It just amazes me how a so called business class doesn’t have options let alone hot meals or the possibility of pre selecting special meals.
I mentioned it in the post flight survey about one cold option, but I did see an option to order a special veggie meal ahead of time so that's partially on me. Still, with options I'd be able to have a meal instead of assorted veggies which is what I told them in the survey.
The FA was wonderful about it and procured me lots of snacks (and drink refills) which was very nice.
