Since you are staying with her, she can call to add info of you as the roommate and give your number so they know of your elite status. Most Marriott hotels will recognize you as the spouse staying, and give the elite benefits.
There had been times the room is booked in my wife's name and I as the spouse staying with her has Plat status, and the hotel gave the benefit (breakfast).
