Grand Hotel Parker‘s is the nicest place in town. Amazing sea views, nice terrace, good food, rooms newly renovated. Only weak point is the breakfast.
The other „luxury“ options: Vesuvio, good location on the water, but run-down and desperately needs renovations. Romeo, was modern/contemporary 10 years ago, and the port location is awful and unsafe at night.
We stayed at the Romeo for 3 nights and enjoyed it. The design is clearly not for everyone (I didn't care for it). Never had an issue with safety. The food is actually very good - breakfast included.
