I put silica gel packs normally in a lot of my ziplock bags which contain face products as I want to give it air. However, several times before flying, I would just just remove the silica gel packs in my checked bag. Does anyone know if having silica gel packs in your checked bag increases the chances your bag is searched? Last time when I flew from the US to outside the US, I know my bag got opened because I had a paper inside it that said it was opened and inspected.
The thing is if they are swabbing your facial products like opened face cream in a jar, doesn't that bother most of you? If I saw that, I would then throw it away because even though they wear gloves, to me, it just isn't hygenic.
