I'm looking at some options and it seems like either a Starlux or EVA flight followed by a separate ticket China Airlines flight, connecting through TPE, may work the best due to timing. My questions:

• Do I need to exit immigration and check in at the departure counter? Is there a CI transfer desk I can find to get a boarding pass? Where is it and what's the process? No checked bags, only a carry-on
• My layover will be ~3.5 hours, is that enough time especially if I have to exit immigration?
• Does not seem like it, but does JX or BR have an arrivals lounge for J passengers?
