For us, traveling with our daughter, it was clear on booking that there was a third person charge of 12,500 per nite, as well as in confirmation emails. The Westin had a lower rate, but is less convenient and no real upgrade potential. I applied SNAs and received an upgrade to a Marvelous suite two days out (we are traveling to Osaka and checking in today).

The third person charge would apply if a rollaway bed is needed. The hotel did contact me to confirm if we need the extra bed or not. If no extra bed is needed, there is no additional charge for 3rd person. I am hoping the 2 double beds will be big enough for 3 people (my wife and I share one and our son gets the other). Would be great to get your experience once you checked in.
