Are the round trip tram tickets from the airport usable in any direction?

I bought a round trip ticket from the airport ticket machines and used the inbound direction towards town. I don’t need to use the outbound direction since I discovered that the ride is included in my three-day pass which ends today.

Can I use return portion of the ride in the NCE>town direction on another trip? If so, how long is it valid?
