Booked a one-way PE ticket for a date in mid-December and when the initial email came through, I just took the refund. Nottingham Nick . So, I phoned them to request an airline transfer. The call agent managed (eventually...) to reverse the refund, put me on a BA flight, same class and same date. So I've received a confirmation email from VS, still awaiting the actual ticket to come through from BA.
Not been a good few weeks for Virgin Atlantic...
Many people have been booked on BA, but none are ticketed yet. VS agent told me they intend to get this into award bucket, so their charges are gonna be lower. Well, I dont think this plan will stick given the air passenger rights.
