Just wrapped up a five-night stay, my fourth summer in a row, and I plan to return next summer too.

I was upgraded to a forest view fireplace suite (3/3 on suite upgrades, 1 year I got a deal and booked directly into a suite). As in prior years, I could clearly hear my neighbors through the connecting door in the living room. My son slept on the fold-out in the living room and had no complaints. There was a small welcome gift of chocolate in the room.

The WiFi didn’t work well in our room. I got <1mbps on a speed test. My wife also had challenges. I don’t recall this being an issue in prior years.

New this year is a shuttle to Tahoe City which runs four times a day. This was quite handy for us since we didn’t have a car.

My son had a blast playing soccer with other kids in the recreation area above the pool. My wife likened it to a soccer camp as the kids played there for hours at a time.

Breakfast remains a buffet and was 95% the same as it’s been the past few years with the same staff as well. Eggs are available cooked to order.

The latest checkout I could get was Noon, but we got a pool key for the rest of the day.

Everything was just about the same as my prior reviews. I find it a relaxing destination and glad to answer any questions.
