Hi, I purchased main cabin tickets to VCE, and since I'm a platinum medallion got the automatic upgrade to comfort plus. I decided to upgrade to premium select using miles. On the return flight to ATL I'm showing at least 14 D1 seats open. But since I did the premium upgrade I'm no longer receiving any D1 upgrades messages, and I'm wondering does Delta offer anything as the flight date gets closer? It is this month. I called Delta to see if I could upgrade that leg but they tell me no; that perhaps Delta will offer something before the flight. I'm just surprised with that many seats available I'd think they'd be making offers now $ wise or miles wise. I'm pretty sure from reading posts that they won't do complimentary upgrades, so I thought I'd ask to see if people thought they might still put out offers. Thanks!
