BA has a 30% points bonus at the moment but their business class sucks. I do have a lot of Avios points from Qatar Air.

Would I be better off transferring to Delta, Singair or Cathay Pacific? Don't have a lot of points with any of them at the moment.
1) open an Everyday card which is zero AF yet has FULL membership reward benefits. Your pts will be in the membership account linked to Everyday. Open the card wait a while to allow the auto-linkage before you X the existing card.

2)Transfer to BA especially with current 30% bonus. Personally ever since QR joined Avios 2+ years ago, BA becomes a valuable program to me not just in shorthaulsbut also in longhauls QR serves. Between NA and DOH or between Asia and NA via DOH, it is near impossible to use AA or AS miles but one can find seats with QR own program. Besides AA routing rules preclude transit at DOH between NA and Asia would be 2 awards then you cannot find anything NA-DOH…

You can link Qatar Privilege Club account to your BA account (all the details must be exactly 100% match to succeed the linkage). When you book QR award you don’t even need to do manual transfer. QR will see your balance in BA and ask you would you like to use such, then perform the transfer with a few verification screens, QR does not have routing restriction hence you can book Asia to US via DOH in either the leased CX 777-300ER or QSuite depending on the routes. QR charges business but let you pick F of the leased CX 777 fyi. This also makes award seats much easier to find than other programs, and certainly much cheaper than Asian Miles the CX currency in F.

Besides BA can transfer to IB / EI / AY also. Though the latter 2 should be avoided because EI basically has no real business class while AY’s new business class seats suck big time due to it only has 2 positions - sit upright or lie flat, no lounging position at all!

IB has another draw back that is no refund on partner awards. But IB own metal TATL ischeaper than BA in both miles and surcharge cash.
