There has been no system wide devaluation of points. If you mean there have been some devaluations in various regions, that could be an accurate statement.



As I and others have shown, plenty of places have stayed the same or dropped. For example, rooms in Hawaii have stayed at 40K points or less. Rooms in Kalamazoo, MI, where I stay a lot still have plenty of availability in the low 20K range. You can do NYE in Chicago for at the IC for 42K points.

Just saying something doesn’t make it real.
