But the good news for next time is that because QR are a member of oneworld, a passenger can usually call up their reservation on most or all of the other oneworld airline websites to add the kinds of data mentioned. As with all alliances (and OTAs), each airline has its own slightly different system, so if it it doesn't work on one, try another. Finnair is often quoted and that's the one I've used with 100% success (so far), but several of the others have also been mentioned in threads here just in the past few days.
