Happy to be corrected of you have a reliable source to the contrary that PDX came about on its own merits without a cash incentive (needed or taken) in order to operate.

Subsidised route networks aside (which isn't really the topic of the thread), would you agree with everything else I bought to the table that's relevant to the OP's question?
