I would not recommend a 30 minute LAX connection to anyone needing mobility assistance even if I knew the gates were adjacent (and we’re beating a dead horse at this point, as OP has already canceled the flight). You’re counting on the inbound being on time, the gate personnel being ready, and the wheelchair attendants being in place. On my most recent flight (admittedly, on a different AAirline), the flight attendant told the gate agent “six wheelchairs.” As I deplaned, I counted four attendants.
