Too late to change my order now as it's inside 24 hours and I went with the ol' standby short rib option for a domestic dinner flight. I noticed what appears to be a new choice though.
Vegetarian shepherds pie. Sounded decent from the description on the meal pre-order page. I don't remember seeing it as an option before and don't think I've seen a review on this thread.
Is this new for August? Anyone tried the shepherds pie yet?
Tried it a couple of days ago since it was the first new option I had seen in quite a while. Flight attendent serving it had never seen it before either and described it as some sort of vegetarian mashed potatoes. It was OK but not super filling. Taste wasn't bad but was basically some lentils with mashed potatoes on them and what tasted like seasoned bread crumbs on top. Not a lot of veggies beyond that.
