That's good to know about the SMF flights! ORD catering is Gate Gourmet instead of LSG, but that probably doesn't have a lot to do with it since CLT and DFW (mainline) are both LSG.
I've been getting the flip of that, with more raspberry sorbet lately and more Haagen-Dazs earlier int he year/last year. Overall since they started this program years ago, I'm like 70% Villa Dolce / 30% Haagen-Dazs.
You can tell what I'm really paying attention to when I travel.

Too late to change my order now as it's inside 24 hours and I went with the ol' standby short rib option for a domestic dinner flight. I noticed what appears to be a new choice though.
Vegetarian shepherds pie. Sounded decent from the description on the meal pre-order page. I don't remember seeing it as an option before and don't think I've seen a review on this thread.
Is this new for August? Anyone tried the shepherds pie yet?
