You would've had to go back to the Hertz booth at the LAX lot to get this fixed. Now that you've left with the contract its going to be significantly more difficult, time consuming, and frustrating to get it corrected.
There are multiple reports of Hertz doing this crap and overcharging pax for cars from the ultimate choice area. Any future rentals if you get a bad price on the contract, I suggest either backing up and going back to the rental booth/building... or simply getting out of the car and taking the keys and walking back to the booth with your contract.
