Hertz Overcharging Rental Taken From Ultimate Choice President's Circle Section
Booked an SUV at LAX at $75.86/day. Choose a Subaru from the President's lot, drove to the exit booth where they handed me a rental agreement showing a rate of $151.98/day. Gate attendant says call Hertz, which took three tries (no answer, then disconnected from agent). Finally got through but phone representative says they can't do anything.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this sort of thing? Even assuming it gets worked out it's going to chew up time which sort of defeats the whole idea of being able to just grab a car and go.
