Certainly easy to miss, but it works both directions. Take out the lengthy parentheses and it becomes a lot clearer:

Hmm, the wording is ambiguous if you ask me as obviously at the airport in question (VIE in this case) you are not at that point travelling
between those two flights.
I've never tested it myself and can't recall many reports on here about success or otherwise in this scenario so only speculating. I tried looking at the lounge access guide where it's I think covered in the scenario 4 graphic, but the images seem to be invisible on my browsers so can't see the verdict there. Maybe others can still see them?
