03 Aug - TK88 departed at 06:01 due to having to wait for TK25 to arrive from Taipei at 03:57 (TC-LJA)

05 Aug - TK88 departed at 06:52 due to having to wait for TK39 to arrive from Kuala Lumpur at 04:09 (TC-JJK)

07 Aug - TK88 departed at 06:48 due to having to wait for TK91 to arrive from Seoul at 04:16 (TC-JJT)

In all cases the inbound flight from the Far East (Taipei, Kuala Lumpur and Seoul) was on time or early.

What this suggests to me is that TK doesn’t have a 77W ready on the ground in IST to operate the flight on-time at the scheduled time of 01:35. They are having to wait for the inbound flights from the Far East to start arriving (of course due to the long time on the ground in Beijing the return flights are able to operate on time).

Clearly this doesn’t have much to do with 30 minutes Eurocontrol delays. If that were the case the Beijing flights would be 30 minutes late, not 5hrs late.
