Around once every 3 months (may increase now due to status), short flights in economy. As it took just a minute or two to send an email asking for a status match, it seemed time well spent.
They've never weighed them, but a 12Kg limit on hand luggage may be an issue on the KLM light fares as my flights to London are part family visiting, part UK supermarket stock-up. Plus, LCY has abandoned their unlimited liquids rule.
