I jest of course, but if you have to make a "manual" transport the length of it is usually not the challenge but the actual set-up, which is what I think the OP is trying to reduce as much as possible.
At that point id rather drive to BOS and fly BOS-JFK-DEL than fly out of PWM, thats probably the same amount of logistics and driving plus you're protected in case of weather etc. if on the same ticket for peace of mind.
