Ranch is in a gorgeous location. Their public relations is superb.
However, heads up for something we experienced prior. In the historic barn the 'Loft' accommodation, there were log walls without drywall on top of them. Flies bred their eggs in the chinks in those log walls, and there were dead flies by the bedside nightstands, and in the sitting area on the window ledge behind the sofa when we checked in. Housekeeping explained they could clean up but it would happen again. Ick.
Food was a disappointment, as the kitchen got fresh vegetables and fresh fruit only twice a week. Town is pretty far away, which explains that.
Even so, Chef at the time was sophisticated perhaps for Montana, but not compared to a james beard or one michelin star Chef in a more cosmopolitan area in our personal opinions.
Menus were relatively limited in choice. After the third day, it gets old.
Staff was nice but Ranch was understaffed during the time of our stay.
If you primarily care about doing the activities, and the above doesn't bother you, and you like camping and the outdoors and everything that comes with that, maybe you won't mind.
We minded and can't recommend.
