Right now it's been quite a number of weeks and referral links (at least for me) are still only showing 100k. But your confirmation of successfully matching to 120k is exactly what I needed to hear.
I believe they've changed what they will upgrade a sign-up bonus for (or when). In the past, I have gotten a bonus match even if, when I applied, the bonus was the same everywhere (including banks), as long as I was till working on the sign-up bonus (spending). Now, it seems they won't give the boost unless, when you applied, that higher bonus was offered SOMEWHERE...as in this case, this 120K offer was available at a bank.
I applied for the card before the 120K came out anywhere and was denied when I asked for the extra 20K (they even said that it was only a 100K bonus in the rejection letter), and yet, folks here HAVE gotten the extra 20K if they applied for the 100K after the 120K was available in banks.
