No confusion - they spell it out clearly in their T&C. You need 5 SK flights until 31/March/2025, otherwise you'll be demoted to where you were before the status match.
It only says "5 flights", no mention of revenue flights. But I have 99,9% confidence that SK won't honour/count redemptions for the 5 required flights.
I emailed the status match team and got the confirmation of your theory. Cash/partial miles payment only:
Award flights do not count for this purpose. However, paying a part of the flight with points through the slider in the booking does count, even if you pay up to 100% of the flight with points.
It is only the flights that are with round number of points (award flights) that do not count.
