It's definitely the most unenforced supposedly guaranteed rule Hyatt has. I knew coming in that they probably reject it, but found it really funny that they insisted they normally honor it given the many many data points in here saying they don't.
I did end up sending a quick message to Hyatt on Facebook.
The agent went above and beyond and actually called the hotel, who told her basically to kick rocks. She confirmed I should have gotten a 4pm checkout, but didn't have any power to enforce it on them, so gave me a nominal amount of points as an apology which I appreciated.
