If I put the details in the BA Avios Flight Calculator it shows 9165 Avios and 140 TP's I'm choosing to put it in as an American flight but it does show Avios/TP's as an EI flight?
EI is a special case covering only the EI flight numbers, otherwise the rule is it has to be operated by a oneworld airline. Since EI is not in oneworld, AA(EI) does not get credit. The EI prime flight code would, as would the BA flight code [because all BA codes credit, regardless of operator].
