Anyway…
I had a flight from SIN to SGN with an overnight at KUL. At Jewel early checkin it was impossible to get the bag to KUL so had to get to T2 to drop the bag with a KUL destination.

the Premium check in counter staff was adament, no you can not use the PDF boarding pass as CHANGI requires a physical boarding pass (which is not true as other airlines do it). I also asked at immigration security showing the PDF print and they said that the PDF print needs a stamp.

With that knowledge I told my partner who came a few hours later without a bag, to login to online check in on the website and use the mobile boarding pass on the web, not the PDF and he was allowed in when he showed that on his mobile. The QF lounge also scanned the mobile boarding pass and a5 the gate it was also done via the mobile boarding pass. Honestly the whole stamp thing is a joke… and the staff not knowing the rules is also disappointing.

the QF F lounge was very busy between 5 and 7, but outside those hours there was ample capacity.
