Sorry to hear of your bad experience. The "repair mode" of QF has always been a disgrace, often waiting until bad publicity or public outcry demands it.
Other than the 787, an ageing fleet that is very prone to delays, fuelled by poor insight into spending on (and ordering) newer aircraft earlier, like other airlines did, and AJ didn't, even prior to the pandemic.
The profits went elsewhere.
Yes, delays for all airlines for all deliveries, but leaving the ordering too late has exacerbated this.
The aggressive sales pitch for Project Sunrise and the A350-1000 another smokescreen - this product will have no meaning in real terms, on any level, for several years to come.
Still shocking high fares out of Australia given the deteriorating soft product and catering.
A great shame.
