Yep, I know all of this having been upgraded on a DOH-BKK flight last year from J to F. We will keep our expectations low and hope for a positive experience. In my humble experience, F is often more about soft product than hard so hopefully there's plenty to look forward to on that front. Plus the QR F seats are perfectly comfortable even if they lack privacy. I don't really get that excited about BA in F anymore as I've had some very poor F flights with BA over the last couple of years and more often than not, it's the crew and F&B that are lacking even if the seats are ok.
