I agree with you and on HKG-MNL market they have PTVs from the start making them better than a B777-200 2-5-2 configuration which has a missing PTV. For me on HKG-MNL when I flew on B-HXA I only had the moving map while my brother got to play a game on it.
On HKG-MNL they collect it over CRK/Pangasinan Province.
It's different for NYC JFK it's always the A340-600 because it has the range to make the 7014 8066 miles round trip distance flight number for it was CX830/831 but the A340-300 went via YVR CX888/889.
