I was looking at the "goodwill gesture" that many fliers received and wondering if there was a pattern of who received them or didn't, and also if anyone wrote to Delta to ask for them if they were not issued? Sorry, as it has been random as I received 3 deposits 3 consecutive days of 12,500, 10,000, and 10,000. The 12,500 deposit I feel was for a JFK departure cancelled flight on July 20th and the two 10,000 deposits for two flights on July 21th, but I cancelled the July 21st flights and made other transportation arrangements. A family member received who is GM received 20,000 deposit. There have been reports (Reddit & FB groups) of people contacting Delta who have either not received or informed Delta customer service that the initial 10,000 deposit was not acceptable and Delta deposited more.
