Debating some flight options and noticed some well priced WTP flight from Doha on my return. The only catch is it leaves at 1am and arrives 6am which is a little early compared to Turkish which was via its hub on the return for me and afternoon flights. While WTP is nice, if its a night flight I was curious with service and if it was really worth it or better just to take a good nights sleep in Turkey and fly in the afternoon. Would the flight from BA have I guess a snack served with a full breakfast before landing or a full dinner service and a breakfast snack before landing
Last time I flew on a night flight it was pretty much sleep and a darkened cabin from the get go, after a welcome drink. You can get service on demand, but I find it takes so long, that you're still awake 2 hours after take-off. I'd try and eat before boarding and maximising sleep, then wake for breakfast.
