Stayed here in July for a few days during our Japan trip and was fairly impressed given its price point. Some great reviews above, so not going to add a huge amount, but just to reiterrate that the hotel location is really handy for Kyoto station / Shinkansen, just under 10 mins from room to platform. The laundry machines on the 2nd floor were great at the end of our trip, and being able to watch their progress on your room TV was a real plus. Breakfast finish at 10am (with last orders at 9.30am) was a little earlier, although I found that they took orders after that time. Executive lounge was much better than I was expecting and was never too busy, although the food was more nibbles than a full meal.
