The technology that the US use for facial recognition is not openly available for use by others. India seems to be going it alone and developing systems on their own, so the tech used is not as advanced (yet). The confidence in the recognition models will improve over time. So it is understandable that they want to play it safe with 12-70yrs.

The report by NHarmonia in CCU is worrying me. I plan to submit my biometric stuff in CCU on the 24th… maybe it’s time to drop a note to the CCU BoI to check if they really participate.
