Sorry for the delayed write-up. Had a great 2 night stay over the weekend. Check in was smooth and they recognized hilton diamond status. Unfortunately there were no room upgrades available since we checked in late, however i suspect other lucky guests may have been upgraded since there were a couple suites available for cash booking earlier in the day that had dissapeared. They gave us a bottle of champagne, a teddy bear and a nice hand written letter for our anniversary!
Dont have too many pictures of the room but it was comfortable, new smart TVs, plush carpet and luxury-feeling linens. no complaints here
Breakfast was included for 2 guests at the Wild Sage restaurant. I had thought they would include an entree and drink per guest, but it was the entire breakfast check that was covered (excluding gratuity). pretty generous if you ask me! they had a few items unavailable on the menu (benedict on the 2nd morning and french press coffee was unavailable). service was great. we had dinner at the restaurant as well- delicious and was nice to make use of my surpass / hilton biz card credits.
No coffee/tea in our room but there was a fresh baked cookies/tea/coffee station in the 2nd floor. delicious!! bike rentals were available as well to ride around jackson. short 10 minute walk to city center.
asked for late checkout and they were able to provide 1pm checkout. Overall service at restaurants, housekeeping, and front desk were great the entire time. I do think many of the staff are still training / learning the ropes and had to ask the manager for some of my questions (hilton perks, late checkout, etc), however this was understandable since the hotel had just re-opened 3 weeks ago.
Overall great stay and i'd be back. used 1 FNC and 105k hilton pts for the 2nd night.
