This is hardly an earth-shattering deal, but there are some decent sub-$3000 fares on decent Star Alliance carriers (UA/LH/LX/AC) from Boston to New Delhi from now through the beginning of December, and then January through EOS. There are also cheaper ones ($2600) from YYZ, but availability is a lot spottier in 2024 (but about the same in 2025). You can either do a single connection each way in FRA/MUC/ZRH/YYZ, or lard up more legs for a few tens of $$ more (one of my itineraries is 8 legs RT for more PQF and BIS).

Etihad has lowered their prices to those levels for both cities (and also includes BLR and BOM), so it is possible that this is in response to that.
