Totally agree with you on this with regard to the HR issues. There are no excuses.
Myself, I am totally turned off by KVR at this point and won't be giving them my money. Value for dollar paid is too important as a customer at these price points. It is still approximately $6,000 + dollars a night including taxes and fees for a 1,200 square foot ocean front kahuale.
Rosewood shouldn't open a hotel if you aren't ready (and neither should any other hotel); and pay and train your employees really well if you want to keep them, even if it is more than what everybody else is paying. It's called incentivizing the best people.
