For some reason, when I was sent the pre-select meal email, I was only given the options available on board. No "exclusive" options are shown, only 3 dishes - one being vegetarian - and the express option. I have contacted Virgin Atlantic, but they don't seem to be able to help. They keep sending the same link with the incomplete list of options. I even asked if I could place my order directly with them, but was told they could not.

This is a huge disappointment. Part of the lure of Upper Class is the dining, and part of the lure of the dining is having a variety of options. It doesn't help I was really looking forward to the Rosemary and Goats Cheese tortellini which should be one of the exclusive options.
The choices are not symmetric and because VS no longer has any respect for those of us who live in SFO, a ex-UK vacation destination, we get short-shrift choices when heading toward the UK. In Fall/Winter, the flight times do not arrive in time to use Revivals and they'll happily tell you that "Revivals is for business passengers that need to refresh, not those on vacation."
