We have a reservation here next week and I'm considering cancelling given the rebrand (really wanted the WA highland cow), mixture of old and new rooms, and stinginess on upgrades. Any thoughts on this vs Hilton vs Doubletree vs. Marriott options. We're currently booked into Deluxe Queen Room (so I'm expecting to end up in an inner room?) but I can cancel and rebook for the same amount of points into King Deluxe Room (for the same 95K points). Alternatively I can get Double Guest Room for 60K points in Hilton or Double Bed Guest Room for 50K in DT or Wed Double for 70K points in Nira. We're only in EDI for two nights so any thoughts appreciated. Our flight is at 3.40 pm so we could probably use at least 1 pm late checkout.
